Elmach Blister Packing Line Controls
Control system application engineering across the Elmach blister packing range — from large format machines down to compact models — covering PLC logic, HMI and machine sequence.

- Recipe management
The challenge
The Elmach blister packing range spans a wide set of machine formats, from large multi-track machines to compact single-lane models. Each format carries its own mechanical geometry, feed and sealing behaviour, so a single control programme could not simply be copied across the range.

Our approach
- 01Application study per machine format — feed, forming, sealing and cutting behaviour
- 02Parameterised PLC control logic so one code base adapts to multiple machine models
- 03HMI screen design with recipe handling for format changeover
- 04Electrical panel design and control system documentation
- 05Installation, commissioning and operator training per machine
Outcome
- Consistent control behaviour across the Elmach model range
- Faster format changeover through recipe-driven parameters
- Reusable engineering that shortened delivery on subsequent machines
- Clear documentation for the customer's own service team
